Quite respectful female seeks safe housing (Boston)

I recently lost my mother and since then have lived in 9 different places in 3 different states.
I've never had my own apartment so as a result I have only personally and professional references to provide.
I have a monthly income of 1679.
That amount will never change and will be available without fail every month.
During my housing search I have been scammed and taken advantage of more than I care to admit.
I have a clean CORI and keep to myself.
Guests are rare and while I have no pets it would be great to own one in the future.
