As a Business Analyst on the Product team, you will play a crucial role in designing and improving IT solutions, leveraging technical expertise and business insights to collaborate with internal and external clients in an agile environment, ultimately enhancing business efficiency and productivity.
What You'll Do
Analyze existing systems and business models, while mapping and documenting interfaces between legacy and new systems
Understand software development lifecycle, including Agile/JIRA/Kanban
Translate client requirements into detailed project briefs/technical requirements
Identify and assess potential solutions for both technical and business suitability
Conduct requirements analysis and prepare proposals for modified or new solutions
Collaborate with multiple groups for solution development and related products
Present design mock-ups/proposals to clients and internal management teams
Develop, execute, and document testing schedule/results for complete solution/implementation
Oversee implementation of new systems, including data migration
Provide support to users on system issues, configurations, change control, and updates
Deliver training and user manuals for new solutions
Ensure adherence to budgets and meet deadlines
Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines
Work closely with colleagues, developers, testers, and end users for technical compatibility and user satisfaction
Stay updated on technical and industry developments
Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/work experience
1+ years as an Analyst in Technology or Mortgage (Help Desk, Operations, Business, Systems/Solutions Analyst)
Deep understanding of business solutions (Document Management, CRMs, Business Web Technology, etc.
)
Independent, collaborative, and self-motivated in a virtual environment
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio, and MS SQL
Ability to conceptualize new solutions with minimal business requirement details and create technical design mock-ups
Expert in solution testing across various phases: Stage, UAT, Production Validation Testing
Knowledge of Mortgage, Financial Services, or Real Estate industry
Familiarity with Agile/Rapid Development Methodology
Compensation Education
Stavvy is committed to competitive and equitable pay for all Stavviators.
The listed pay range for this role is a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position.
Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
The Boston based range for this full time position is $68,000 - $90,000
