We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Service Group! The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for invoicing clients for completed work, reconciling vendor invoices, handling collections, and providing support with payroll.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this position.
In this role you will:
Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner for services rendered, out of the ServiceTrade software.
Manage daily Accounts Payable approvals.
Assist with payroll processes.
Manage and monitor, and communicate with customers regarding the status of open invoices and follow up on payment.
A successful candidate will have:
2 years of experience in the Service Construction industry is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated high-level problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software systems.
Payroll time entry knowledge- preferred but not required.
Collections knowledge- preferred but not required.
Software Experience Necessary:
Microsoft Suite
CMiC – preferred but not required.
ServiceTrade – preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
